Getting Started
What changed in the Triage Queue?
There are three changes. The Provider Queue and Triage Queue labels now show how many visits are waiting in each. A Reference Bar appears on the right side of the Triage Section while you review a Scope visit. The triage provider can also pend orders for the patient's provider during that review.
What does the number next to the Triage Queue mean?
It is the number of Scope visits still waiting for triage.
What does the number next to the Provider Queue mean?
It is the number of triaged visits assigned to you that still need to be completed.
Do I have to open a queue to see how many visits are in it?
No. The count shows on the queue label, and it changes as visits are added to or cleared from the queue.
Where is the Reference Bar?
Open a Scope visit for review. The Reference Bar is on the right side of the Triage Section, next to the summary.
Do I have to leave the visit to look something up?
No. The Reference Bar sits alongside the Scope summary, so you can check reference information without navigating away from the patient's visit.
Pending orders from triage to the provider
How do I pend an order during triage?
While you review a Scope visit in the Triage Section, select Add Orders. The orders you enter are attached to the visit and flagged for the patient's provider to review.
I'm the patient's provider. Where are the orders pended during triage?
Open the visit. The pended orders show alongside the Scope summary and the triage notes.
Can I change an order the triage provider pended?
Yes. The patient's provider can edit pended orders using the pencil icon next to the order.
I can't sign the pended order.
Create the Scope Assessment for the visit first. A pended order can't be signed until the Scope Assessment exists.
