Feature Overview
This release introduces the Interpretation Report Button in Referencing Preview and My Queue Tasks in Akido Chart, allowing providers and clinic staff to create or open an interpretation report directly from the referencing preview drawer and the My Queue task preview, instead of navigating out to the standalone result preview page first. Button copy now also distinguishes a signed interpretation report from an unsigned one, so the state of the report is clear before it is opened.
Getting Started
Where do I find the Interpretation Report button now?
You can reach it from three places. In the referencing preview drawer, it's in the header between Mark as Reviewed and the comments icon. In a My Queue task preview, it's in the header, directly to the left of Open Result. It's also still on the standalone result preview page, where it was before.
Does the button look or work differently depending on where I click it?
No. The button looks the same and sits in the same position in all three places. It uses the same permissions and the same steps to create a report as the standalone result preview page.
What happens when I click it?
The interpretation report opens in a new browser tab, the same as it does from the standalone result preview page. You don't have to leave the drawer or task you're working in.
Is this the same as the lab's PDF report?
No. The Interpretation Report button creates or opens an interpretation report. Viewing the lab's original PDF with View Source Lab Report is a separate option.
Did the steps for creating a report change?
No. What changed is where you can reach the button, plus new button labels that show the report's status. Creating a report works the same as it does from the standalone result preview page.

What do the different button labels mean?
The label tells you where the report stands before you open it.
- Create Interpretation Report: no report exists yet.
- Interpretation Report: a report exists but hasn't been signed.
- Signed Interpretation Report: the report has been signed.
How can I tell if an interpretation report is signed without opening it?
Check the button label. Signed Interpretation Report means the report has been signed. Interpretation Report means a report exists but isn't signed yet.
