Feature Overview
This release introduces 2 key enhancements to Akido Chart:
- Quick Reference Panel – A persistent, anchored navigation menu available across all patient-context pages, allowing users to access relevant patient history without leaving their current workflow.
- Enhanced Patient Search – Flexible multi-field patient search functionality allowing users to find patients using any combination of name, account number, date of birth, phone number, address, or email.
Getting Started
Where do I search for a patient?
On the Akido Chart schedule page, click Patients in the top left corner.
What can I search by?
Patient name (first, last, or both), account number, date of birth, phone number, address, or email address.
Do I have to fill in every field?
No. Search with one field, or combine as many as you need. More identifiers give you more precise results.
Too many patients come up with the same name.
Add another identifier, such as date of birth, phone number, or account number. Searching with more than one identifier gives more precise results and lowers the chance of picking the wrong patient.
I can't find the patient by name.
Search by another identifier you have: account number, date of birth, phone number, address, or email address.
Search Fields
What format do I use for date of birth?
MM/DD/YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY. Either one works.
Can I search by only a first name or only a last name?
Yes. Search by first name, last name, or both.
