Feature Overview
This release introduces 2 key enhancements to Akido Chart:
- Quick Reference Panel – A persistent, anchored navigation menu available across all patient-context pages, allowing users to access relevant patient history without leaving their current workflow.
- Enhanced Patient Search – Flexible multi-field patient search functionality allowing users to find patients using any combination of name, account number, date of birth, phone number, address, or email.
Getting Started
Where do I find the Quick Reference Panel?
It's on the patient pages you work in, including the note editor, note preview, and the preview pages for results, files, forms, immunizations and injections, and orders. The panel stays in place as you move between these pages.
What can I look at from the panel?
The patient's recent activity, patient snapshot, past notes, results, forms, files, exam photos, upcoming appointments and immunizations.
I don't want to leave my note to look something up.
You don't have to. Use the Quick Reference Panel to review past notes, results, forms, files, and immunizations from the page you're on. There's no need to switch pages or open a new tab.
Is this the same as the reference sidebar or referencing panel?
Yes. You may hear the Quick Reference Panel called the reference sidebar or the referencing panel.
Using it with Transcribe
Can I keep Transcribe running while I use the panel?
Yes. Transcribe can stay on and keep capturing the patient conversation while you look things up in the Quick Reference Panel.
